These are some of the most powerful hydraulic street cams available for the 455. Cool sounding idle music, but just be sure your engine is up to the task for these. Good sealing in the motor is a must to idle these cams at 800, but it can be done!

If you have all the goodies, the Dominator is the cam for you! 2003 Edit... this is the TA 290-08H

My Personal favorite street cam. I love this one. If you think a Hemi-Killer pulls like a freight train, you will love this one. Pulls HARD to 6000 rpm.

Better idle quality than the Hemi Killer, due to closing the intake valve up a touch sooner. More power from the split duration figures.

Actual Figures Measured

Lunati 238/248 TA Street Dominator
Peak Horsepower / RPM 496 @ 5800 511 @ 5800
Peak Torque / RPM 493 @ 4800 500 @ 4800
Averages 3600 - 6000
Horsepower 417 423
Torque 465 472

Don't be fooled by the graph... The TA cam revs much smoother, with it's standard rate hydraulic cam lobes.

Once again, a conventional lobe cam outperforms a fast ramp.

Note: With the Luanti cam, the engine broke a rocker shaft at 5800 rpm! Scotty reports a noticeable difference in the sound of the engine.
