I think she will prolly stop pretty well..
A custom set of American Racing Torque Thrust 2's, in a 16x8 size, were ordered.
And they just cleared.. whew!
All fit areas were inspected carefully.
Can't forget about the rear.. Original numbers matching 8.5 rear was rebuilt with a new Eaton Posi unit, and Richmond 3.73 gears, to be used in conjunction with the Gear Vendor's overdrive unit behind it's numbers matching TH 400.
And we all know, Brakes stop the wheels, but the tires stop the car.. We settled on Goodyear Eagle Ultra Plus Tires, in a 255/50/16 size on all 4 corners.
Of course, a new, clear coated gas tank, straps, stainless brake lines, and Koni shocks at all 4 corners start to make it look like a car again.
