Level 1 Engine on the dyno


Level 1 Description

  This engine is ideal for a "cruiser", and is affectionately referred to as our "convertible motor". Works well with 2500 stall fixed pitch torque converter in a TH 350 or 400, with 2.93-3.42 gears. Great off-idle to 5500 rpm power. Idles at 600-700 rpm easily, with a very mild lope. AC and all accessories ok.

   We suggest you get a current quote, before we start your engine project. Often times we use  customer parts for these engines, which reduces the price greatly. The average price of a Level 1 iron motor, with customer supplied components (carb, distributor, intake, oil pan ect) is about $7000.
