Ground clearance... now you see the strength of a custom build, for this type of car. That's a 14Qt oil pan (from Steve Reynolds at SRE Fabrication) and our custom built 2 1/8 x 3 3/4 race headers. From day one, this car was designed to sit low (5" to the bottom of the rocker moldings) yet have adequate clearance to easily maneuver this car around on and off trailers, and thru the pits. This does not happen by chance, many hours of work went into maintaining this much ground clearance, with a car that sits this low.

Obviously, you see we went with a completely different hood, than in the previous pictures, as we decided that a cowl hood was not the best alternative for this car.
