Level 1A Engine on Dyno

1AH engine shown, with Polished SPX manifold, chrome valve covers, and "stock appearing" ignition wiring.

Two versions  now dyno tested and available!

Level 1AH- Single plane intake/headers ...................................... Dyno Results Here!

Level 1AM- Dual plane intake/stock exhaust manifolds........... Dyno Results Here!

Level 1AM Description

Simply Put.. it's the Level 1 engine, with aluminum heads, and stock exhaust manifolds. Mild lope when idling, "just enough" so it sounds like it's got a little cam. This one will sneak up on them.. painted up, with iron manifolds, and chrome valve covers, with stock looking spark plug wires, it looks like a stocker to the Brand X boys.. But it doesn't run like one! 2500 stall converter, mid-low 3 series gears, heavy car.

Level 1AH Description

Who says more isn't better?... The bigger intake and carb, revised cam timing, and headers on this version really wake it up! It really shows the potential of the  STG 1 Aluminum heads. A full 80 HP stronger than the "M" version. And it has the beefed up internals to make it live. Slightly rougher idle than the M motor, but still very streetable. A great driver motor, at home in traffic, as well as on the strip. 2500-3000 stall converter, mid-high 3 series gears, 3800 lbs car.
