Level 3 Street/Strip Engine

Level 3 Description

  The "Street Beast!" This one will wake up the neighbors. Brutal HP, yet you can cruise to the local burger joint on pump premium gas. At 10.75-1 compression, you can race it on pump gas too! Forget the power brakes.. unless you have a vacuum pump. Idles at 1000 rpm, with 7" of vacuum. Pulls hard to 6500 rpm, and it will live going there, for a long time. 3200-3600 lbs car, 4000 stall converter, 3.73-4.56 gears are recommended.  Make sure the rest of the driveline is up to the punishment.. with slicks, this motor will find the weak links... in a hurry!

Fully dyno tested and tuned, run stand evaluated, heat cycled, and infrared leak check. Everything is set, right down to the idle speed. That's "drop in and run" performance!

 We suggest you get a current quote, before we start your engine project. Often times we use  customer parts for these engines, which reduces the price greatly. The average price of a Level 3 motor, with customer supplied components (carb, distributor, intake, oil pan ect) is about $11,000.
